At Adhock Homeware, sustainability isn’t just part of what we do - it’s the reason we started. From our upcycled wine bottle candles to our refillable tealights and handmade wine bottle tealight holders, everything we make is designed to reduce waste, support ethical craftsmanship, and tell a meaningful story.
We believe that beautiful homeware can be both eco-friendly and full of soul, and every piece we make and support reflects that.

Giving Waste a Second Life

• Upcycled bottles & cans: We’ve given over 20,000 wine bottles and cans a second life by transforming them into unique, handcrafted candles. Each one is cut, sanded, and polished by hand.
• Locally sourced, community powered: Many of the bottles and cans we use are donated by our amazing local community. We regularly collect from independent bars, cafés, vineyards and generous neighbours who want to keep glass out of landfill and support a more circular way of living.
• Soy wax: We use sustainably sourced soy wax - clean-burning, vegan-friendly, and biodegradable.
• Plastic-free packaging: Always 100% recycled, recyclable, or compostable.

Ethical, Fair & Handmade

We proudly work with Fair Trade organisations and artisan makers, creating pieces like our iron candlestick holders and ceramic incense stands. These items not only support traditional craftsmanship, but ensure fair wages and ethical working conditions.

Protecting the Planet

• #ReedsForReeds Pledge: A portion of proceeds from every reed diffuser sold goes towards wetland conservation in the UK - protecting vital natural habitats.
• Tree Planting Promise: We plant a tree for every order placed online - growing our impact one order at a time.
• Small-Batch & Local: We hand pour every candle in Devon, keeping production small, waste low, and emissions down.
